2023: Prophet Ramas Okoye Backs Ezeudu, APC Candidate for Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency.
Chief Ramas Okoye, founder of Liberation Church of Absolute God, Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra has made a strong case that the people of Dunukofia Local Government Area should be allowed to represent Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency.
Okoye, also known as ‘Aka Ji Offo Igbo’ said this when he received Mr Lawrence Ezeudu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency in his residence.
He said Anaocha and Njikoka Local Government Areas have been representing the constituency in the the 23 years and that it was unfair that Dunukofia the third LGA making up the constituency had not taken a turn.
He said the marginalisation of the people of Dunukofia was no longer acceptable and that people of other local government areas should support candidates from Dunukofia to win in the interest of fairness and equity.
The spiritualist said the people should adopt Ezeudu, candidate of the APC as their consensus candidate as he had all it took to make a quality representative.
“I will galvanize the support of other local government areas that make up the DNA Federal Constituency to ensure equity, fairness, and justice, it will amount to political and moral injustice for Dunukofia to be denied their slot.
” Both Anaocha and Njikoka have repeatedly represented the Federal Constituency and must lend support to their sister local government, Dunukofia, to benefit their slots.
“I have received a divine mandate, which is to lead the support for Dunukofia to produce the next federal lawmaker in 2023,” he said.
He added that beyond the equity argument, Ezeudu was the most skilled, qualified, and experienced person to represent the Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives and one who would bring home the dividends of democracy.
According to him, I will rally other stakeholders across the Federal Constituency to support Ezeudu as a consensus candidate, based on competency, track record, enthusiasm for development, and in the principles of equity, justice, and fairness.
Responding, Ezeudu who is the current member representing Dunukofia State Constituency in the Anambra House of Assembly, thanked Okoye for his warm reception and kind words.
He promised to keep to his words and build upon his track record of service to the people and development when elected.
The lawmaker said he would replicate his sterling performance in the State House of Assembly at the Federal House.
He said projects he attracted Dunukofia were evidence that testifies his capacity adding that he wasn’t going to Abuja to learn the arts of lawmaking.
According to him, I will hit the ground running to make sure that the people of Anaocha/Dunukofia/Njikoka benefit directly from necessary infrastructure and human capital development and other democratic dividends.
“If elected, I promised to participate in vigorous lawmaking that would benefit and bond DNA stronger as a homogeneous population,” he said.
