Maureen Madu Still Seeking Justice After Police Attack On Academy In Anambra
Maureen Madu, proprietor of Maureen Madu Kiddies Football Academy, Ozubulu in Anambra State is still calling on Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetokun to investigate the case of invasion of the academy my personnel attached to Anti Cult Squad, Ukpo.
Madu who expressed frustration with what he called ‘conspiracy of silence’ by the Police hierarchy in Anambra said it was said that Nigerians had become victims in the hands of those who should protect them.
Recall that Maureen Madu Kiddies Football Academy, Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area was invaded on Oct. 9.

She said it was unfortunate that inspite her numerous outcry and complaints at the Police Zonal Headquarters, Ukpo and State Command Awka, the officers who invaded and manhandled her and her young players had not been called to take responsibility for their action.
Madu expressed worry that the man who registered his child for summer football coaching and later put up frivolous allegations against her in a petition had not been made to substantiate his claims.
“I have been to Zone 13, Ukpo and Police State Command to formally complain but it has one invitation after the other nothing has been done to sdd
“Eight android phones were smashed and taken away, they have not returned any one to the children,” she said.
