Anambra CP, Orutugu Advocates Enhanced Inter Agency Collaborations
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra, CP Ikioye Orutugu has called for increased collaboration among sister sister security agencies for a more secure state.
Orutugu made the call during a working visit to some security commands in Anambra.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra disclosed this in a Statement on Wednesday.
Ikenga said some of the formations visited were 302 Artillery Regiment Onitsha, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
He said the visit underscored the commitment of the Police Command in Anambra towards fostering stronger inter-agency collaboration in tackling security challenges in the state.
“CP Orutugu emphasised the need for seamless coordination, intelligence sharing, and resource integration among security agencies to enhance public safety and sustain ongoing joint operations in critical areas of the state.
“Anambra Police Command remains committed to proactive policing strategies and sustained partnerships aimed at ensuring peace and security across the state
,” he said.
