Security Agencies Strategise Ahead Of President’s Visit To Anambra
Security Chiefs in Anambra on Monday held a strategic meeting ahead of the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on May 8.
Tinubu is scheduled to visit Anambra to inaugurate some projects executed by Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.

Ikenga said the agencies in attendance were Police Department of State Services, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps, AVM Ben Chiobi (Rtd) the Senior Special Assistant to Soludo on Security,
The security agencies’ heads brainstormed on key areas including joint operational deployment, coordinated patrols, and surveillance strategies in the meeting which lasted for five hours.
They also reviewed current security intelligence, assessing threat levels, and planned fortified security measures within the capital city and across strategic locations.
“Additionally, the session addressed operational planning, inter-agency coordination, and contingency preparedness, ensuring the development of robust response strategies for various possible scenarios during the presidential visit.
“The comprehensive security approach reflected the commitment of Anambra security architecture to guaranteeing the safety of the visiting President, dignitaries, and citizens, while sustaining peace and stability across the state,” Ikenga said.
