NSF: Soludo Commends Abiodun On Organisation, Charges Team Anambra To Glory
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra has commended his Ogun State counterpart, Dapo Abiodun for warm hospitality and good organisation of the National Sports Festival codenamed, Gateway Games.

Soludo who spoke at the opening ceremony at the 22nd edition of the NSF commended Ogun State for prompting national unity through sports
He said “ Gov. Abiodun has shown what it means to be a gracious host. Ogun State has set a high standard for national unity through sports.
“”I appreciate President Bola Tinubu, represented by the Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima. for his continued investment in youth and sports development,” he said.
The governor charged the Anambra contingent at the festival in Ogun State to stay focused and exemplify the spirit of excellence which the state is known for.
Soludo, whose presence at the opening ceremony raised the morale of athletes and coaches urged them to uphold discipline, teamwork, and belief in their ability to compete at the highest level.
According to him, stay focused, embody the spirit of excellence, and strive to uphold Anambra’s revered identity as an “A” state.
“This is not just a competition, it is a chance to show the world what Anambra is made of, remain the ‘A’ state that you are, and bring home the medals,” he said.
On his part, Patrick-Estate Onyedum, chairman of Anambra State Sports Development Commission urged athletes to reward Governor Soludo’s presence with a good performance at the festival.
Onyedum assured that the team would not let the governor and people of Anambra down.
“The governor has come all the way to cheer you up, let us reciprocate his gesture with excellent performance, go out there and win,” he said.
Anambra is featuring 100 athletes with 50 officials and would be participating in 20 sporting events.
