Go Pay Your Debts Before Running For Governor —APGA Chieftain Chides Ukachukwu
Mr Chinedu Obigwe, National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors has told Chief Nicholas Ukachukwu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to clear his debts before running for Anambra governorship.
Obigwe said this on Tuesday while reacting to the viral video where a creditor blocked Ukachukwu and his family from leaving an Abuja hotel.
He said that was the second time Ukachukwu was being disgraced openly by those he owed, the first being a man who stripped himself naked at his gate to demand that he should be paid his money.
“In this second video, you will hear Ukachukwu business partners telling him that he cannot be running for Governor and be owing people.
“They said it boldly and several times in this video.
“I honestly agree with them because elections are capital intensive and you cannot be wasting money for elections when you are owing people,” he said.
Obigwe said Ukachukwu had questionable integrity for people to block his family at the hotel, noting that they must have exhausted their patience.
According to him, Ukachukwu is a mistake Anambra electorates must avoid like lepers. .
“He has nothing to offer Anambra people as a governor other than to use Anambra money to pay his hu
ge debt,” he said.
