Monimichelle Sports Celebrates FIFA Quality Certification Of Hybrid Remo Stars Synthetic Pitch
The hybrid synthetic pitch constructed for Remo Stars Football Club in Remo, Ogun State has received the FIFA Quality award the first of its kind in Nigeria to receive the globally recognised standard certification.
The hybrid pitch was constructed by Yenagoa-based Monimichelle Sports, a Nigerian sports infrastructure and technology company dedicated to designing, constructing, and maintaining high-performance pitches and athletic surfaces.
Ebi Egbe, the Managing Director, CEO of Monimichelle Sports who announced this in a Statement on Thursday described the feat as a historic milestone for both Nigerian sports infrastructure and the company brand.
Egbe said the recognition marked a watershed moment in Nigerian football facility development history and underscored Monimichelle Sports’ leadership in delivering world class, performance-driven surfaces.
“It shows that our jobs meet the stringent criteria set by FIFA for safety, durability, ball roll and rebound, player interaction, and environmental sustainability.

Egbe said the certification was not a badge but a confirmation that Nigerian engineering and innovation could meet the highest standards in the global game.
He said the FIFA Quality certification process involved rigorous laboratory and field testing which ensured compliance with the world body’s exacting performance specifications.
