Sit@Home: Soludo Summons Market Leaders To Emergency Crucial Meeting
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has called for a crucial meeting with market leaders in Anambra.
The follows the closure of Onitsha Main Market on Monday as a result of traders observing sit-at-home and the attendant widespread protest in the commercial town on Tuesday.
The letter of invitation signed by Mr Evarist Ubah, the Special Adviser to Soludo on Trade and Markets said the meeting would be held on Thursday at International Conference Centre Awka. at 11.30am prompt.
He said Chairmen and Secretaries of all markets, Chairmen and Secretaries of all market zones and all Line Chairmen and Secretaries were expected to be in attendance.
“Notice is hereby given to Market Executives in the State including Zonal Chairmen and Secretaries and Line Chairmen and Secretaries to a crucial meeting with Mr. Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo on matters of urgent importance.
