Anambra CP Urges Trainee Constables To Brace Up For Operational Challenges
The Anambra Police Command has called on constables from the state who are taking part in the ongoing combat drill training to prepare their minds for the task ahead.
The Anambra command management team led by CP Ikioye Orutugu, the Commissioner of Police in the state made the call when they visited the trainees at the Police College Oji River, in Enugu State on Thursday.
Ikioye, who was represented by Ibrahim Ezekiel, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Charge of Operations, said the Command remained committed to ensuring that the officers received the best training and exposure necessary to discharge their duties effectively.

Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra Police Command quoted the CP as pledging to continue to work closely with the management of the school to ensure the officers were adequately prepared to meet the security initiatives and operational demands of Anambra.
The CP said the Command would continue to work closely with the AIG Emmanuel Bretet, and the College’s Management to ensure that officers were adequately prepared to meet the security initiatives and operational demands in Anambra.
“This visit serves as an opportunity to encourage the trainees to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to the rigorous training programme designed to equip them with the necessary skills, professionalism, and capacity required for modern policing.
“The Command is committed to strengthening the capacity of its personnel through continuous training and collaboration with relevant institutions to enhance effective policing and public safety across the State,” he said.
