Soludo Appoints Okonkwo Pioneer CEO Of Anambra Investment Corporation
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra has appointed Mr Nwabunwanne Okonkwo, a financial expert as the pioneer Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Development and Investment Corporation (ADIC).
Mr Christian Aburime, the Chief Press Secretary to Soludo said this in a statement made available in Awka.
Aburime said Okonkwo was appointed to drive the corporation’s mandate of attracting, financing and overseeing major business and infrastructure projects in the state.
“He is also expected to promote private sector investment, he is also a finance lawyer with over 16 years of experience,” he said.
He said prior to his appointment, Okonkwo served as Managing Director of DLM Advisory, the investment banking arm of DLM Capital Group.
“DLM Capital Group is a development investment bank known for leading innovative transactions in Nigeria.
“Okonkwo has also helped mobilise over one billion dollars for governments and corporate organisations across multiple industries in Africa,” he said.
Aburime said Okonkwo, 39, holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Wayne State University, Michigan, United States.
