Soludo 2.0 Will Deliver Greater Dividends Of Democracy To Anambra — Mefor
Dr Law Mefor, Commissioner for Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation has said that the second term of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo will deliver greater dividends of democracy to the people.
Mefor said this in an interview shortly after Soludo inaugurated him and other newly appointed commissioners at the Government House, Awka on Monday.
Mefor said the governor had laid the Soludo foundation in his first term for greater prosperity.
“In the first term, the Soludo administration achieved a lot including Security, Law and Order, Infrastructure and Economy and the number of roads and other successes will be doubled this second term.
“We have four key developmental blueprints which include four new cities and a district , New Niger City, Anambra Mixed Used Industrial City, the Aerotropolis, and the Awka 2.0 plus, all geared towards making here a liveable Homeland.
“All the policies of the government like free education, free healthcare for pregnant women will be deepened and continued in the Solution 2.0 administration,” he said.
Mefor said the state had come up with the governance and legal framework for electricity generation and supply.
He said the next step would be towards giving Anambra an independent power project and exit from the national grid for regular supply
“This will enable the present administration to industrialise the state.
“As for the Ministry, we are working towards digitising our operation to bring it up to speed with modern information and communication management systems,” he said.
