Corps members engage during POP in Anambra
It was an emotion laden scene when Mr Elege Ifeanyi Kingsley, a 2019 Batch C corps member in Anambra proposed to Miss Diali Mary Jane a member of 2019 Batch who got discharged from national service March 5.
The event which drew wide admiration from corps members and staff of National Youths Service Corps was the highpoint of the Passing Out Ceremony.
Stories has that Kingsley met Mary Jane while in service and got attracted that he decided to take the first step toward marital journey with her.
He presented her with an engagement ring.
Meanwhile, the NYSC in Anambra has expressed deep sense of loss over the death of five corps members who died in the course of the service year.
