Woman, daughter electrocuted in Anambra
A woman identified as Mrs Patience Ugbana, aged 55 years and her daughter Miss Adaeze Ugbana of 10 years were on Monday electrocuted in their shop along St Peter’s junction Okpuno Nnewichi in Nnewi North LGA of Anambra State.

Haruna said the victims were confirmed dead at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi where they were rushed to for treatment.
“Police operatives visited the scene and victims were rushed to NAUTH for treatment but they were confirmed dead by a medical Doctor on duty.
“Corpses are deposited at the same hospital mortuary for autopsy while Investigation is ongoing to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident please,” he stated.
