Aremu Bows Out As NYSC Coordinator In Anambra As Baderinwa Takes Over
Mr Kehinde Aremu, a director in the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) has bowed out as the Coordinator of the Scheme in Anambra after three years of holding sway in the state.
Aremu who handed over to Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa, a Deputy Director in the scheme would resume at the NYSC Headquarters, Abuja in the Human Resource Management Department.
Speaking at a brief ceremony on Wednesday Aremu described his tenure in the state as amazing and attributed his success stories to the support he got from his colleagues.
He urged NYSC staff in Anambra to extend the same level of support and cooperation to his successor.
According to him, the three years I spent here has been amazing. I appreciate you all, but my joy will be complete if we keep the standard higher.
“We must look for better ways of doing things, we must work to improve on our yesterday irrespective of the challenges
“I am truly happy to have worked with all of you. I thank you for the show of love , I assure you that you have a brother in Abuja.
” Anywhere Anambra matters rises, be sure of my interventions.
“Please extend the same maximum cooperation to the new Coordinator, such that whatever we achieve here will be a child’s play. We don’t say good-bye in NYSC.” he said.

On her part, Baderinwa said she was not ruffled on receiving her posting letter, particularly in view of the personality she was taking over from.
She said she was glad to succeed Aremu, whom she described as a hard working man who she had known for a long time, adding she would not have problem settling down as NYSC was one family.
She promised to run a transparent and open door management and enjoined staff of the scheme to give him optimal support.
“I’ve known Aremu for a long time, went to the same school, when this posting came out and I saw it was Anambra, I was comfortable because I know I have a backbone.
“Though Aremu has set a very high bar, I know we can take it to the next level.
“All I need is your maximum cooperation so Anambra can be the pacesetter in the entire NYSC,” he said.
