Micho Palm Nigeria Ltd was registered with only 2,000,000 ordinary shares of 50kobo in 2015, but currently has 32,000,000 ordinary shares.
Micho Palm Nigeria is an Agro based company which deals with palm production and value chain as the main business.
We also have pig farming and plantain plantation as secondary businesses. Currently Micho palm Nig ltd has 62 staff in its employment, with Chief Sir Oliver Ezeike as the MD/CEO.
The factory sits on 25 plots of land with four warehouse blocks and two administrative blocks.
It has 15 crushing machines with capacity to process about 60 tons of Crude Palm Kernel Oil per daily
The factory has two generators with combined 1,000 kVA capacity and one 1000 kVA transformer, a food canteen, weighing bridge and three security houses, among others.
At the moment, MICHO PALM NIG LTD deals on crushing palm kernel nuts and extracting crude palm kernel oil (CPKO.)
The company plans to install a 50 ton daily refining capacity in our premises but at the moment, it does contract refining with some companies to produce its own Refined Palm Kernel Oil ( CHOLEIN VEG OIL)
Micho Palm Nigeria Ltd also plans to acquire land for its own palm plantation so as to enable it to procure and source palm kernel nuts from it.
If accomplished, the refinery machines and setting up of the palm plantation would make the company more competitive in the vegetable oil market and contribute more to total supply.
Micho Palm Nigeria Ltd also runs a Pig Farm which operates on 10 plots of land with 80 rooms at the moment.
Presently, the company has about 200 adult pigs, 150 young male and female pigs, 200 weaners and about 220 surckers.
Palm kernel cake, which is the major food item for pigs with some additive, is sourced from the factory thus creating a good backward integration chain.
As part of its expansion plans, Micho Palm Nigeria Ltd also diversified into plantain plantation which is presently sitting on 11 plots of land, the plantain farm is fed with the waste from pig farm.
Though still small, there’s room for expansion as empty lands are around for sale.
The beauty of this is that the pig sheet gotten from our farm is always used to fertilise the plantation.
Micho Palm Nigeria Ltd is open for expansion and intends to purchase more land from the vast environment to accommodate the projected growth and enable the company to feed the overwhelming demand for Pork.
