184 New Officers From 2020 Intakes Received In Anambra
No fewer than 184 newly recruited police intakes have reported to the Anambra Police Command Headquarter
Mr Echeng Echeng, Commissioner of Police in Anambra who received them at the command said that their success as Police Officers was dependent on their quality of character, discipline and professionalism.
DSP Ikenga the Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra who said in a Statement said the new officers were warned against unwholesome acts.
According to Ikenga, the Anambra State Police Command on Thursday received 184 newly recruited 2020 intake from Police College Oji-river.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng Echeng while addressing the recruits on Friday at the Command Headquarters Awka emphasied that their success as Police Officers waa dependent on their quality of character, discipline and professionalism.
“He also charged them as they were being posted to their area of responsibility in the state, they should resolved not to engage in any act that will unedifying their good names and the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
The CP while thanked the Inspector General of Police,.Mr Alkali Usman and his management team on the initiative on manpower development and deployment of the officers in line with the concept of community policing principles.
He reiterated that the Command is more motivated in enhancing public safety and peace in the state.
The Senior Officers present were DCP Aderemi Adeoye in charge of operation,DCP Peter Ozigi in charge of Finance and Administration among others.
