Anambra Police Command Gets New Operational Base Building
The Nigerian Police Command in Anambra has taken delivery if a new operational building at Nkwelle Ezunaka, Oyi Local Government.
The building was received on Friday by Mr Echeng Echeng, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra.
Echeng who was represented by Mr Aderemi Adeoye, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operation said the facility was a huge boost to the efforts to ensure a secure and peaceful environment in Anambra.
He said the building which was donated by a firm was timely and would assist the Command in the effective policing and quick response to distress calls in the area
He reiterated the Command’s commitment in enhancing peace and safety in Anambra while noting that the base would serve the Anambra International Passenger and Cargo Airport, expressway, tollgate and abattoir.
On his part, Chief Austin Oguejifor, the Executive director of Rotech Energy Service Limited who donated the building said it was part of his company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
