Onyedum Now Chairman Anambra Sports Development Commission
Patrick Estate Onyedum, Chairman of Anambra Athletics Association (AAA) has been appointed chairman of Anambra Sports Development Commission (ASDC) by Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.
Onyedum, a former athlete will work as the second substantive chairman of the commission after Tony Oli whose four year tenure ended in September.
He is the immediate past transition committee chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area where he organised annual athletic championships for secondary schools in the area.
Other appointments made by Soludo on Sunday included Ms Chinwe Okoli: Special Adviser; Innovation and Business Incubation, Mr Ikeobi Ejiofor: Managing Director; Anambra State Water Resources Management Agency and Mr Osita Onuko: MD/CEO Awka Capital Territory Development Authority
Others were Mr Obinna Nduka and Anambra Road Maintenance Agency and Mr Cele Anere: MD, Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA) Brigade
Mr Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to Soludo who announced the appointment in a statement said “Gov. Chukwuma Soludo CFR, has approved the appointment of these persons into the respective positions”.
