Soludo And Obi Meet After Alleged Row
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has met with his predecessor, Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the first time after the media war.
Soludo and Obi met at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Awka on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese.
Contrary to the perceived bad blood between the two great sons of Anambra, both embraced each other with delight and had brief warm and frank conversation before the mass started.
According to eyewitness, just before the mass started, Gov. Soludo stepped out from his pew and walked over to where the former governor was seated to greet him, welcoming him to the Capital city.
“Even amid so many political disagreements, they both understand they are Anambra sons,” he said.
