No Marathon This Year, OCM Organisers Say
Organisers of Onitsha City Marathon have announced the cancellation of the second edition of the Onitsha City Marathon scheduled for later this month.
The organisers disclosed this in a Statement signed by Philip Balepo, the Deputy Project Manager on Friday.
The Onitsha City Marathon is organised by the Onitsha Business School.
It announced that the marathon had been rescheduled for next year.
According to the Statement, the general public is hereby notified that the 2023 Onitsha City
Marathon, OCM, will no longer hold.
“We, the Main Organizing
Committee, MOC, in conjunction with our Marketing Partners, GLS
PROJECTS, look forward to the 2024 edition.
“For every inconvenience, kindly bear with us,” it said.
The first edition was held in October 2019.
