EFCC Arraigns Willie Obiano, former Anambra Governor Jan. 23
Abuja, Jan. 23, 2024 – Willie Obiano, the immediate past Governor of Anambra State, will be arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
He will be arraigned on a nine-count charge bordering on money laundering before Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Ola Olukoyede, the EFCC Chairman, has promised to revive all abandoned high-profile cases, especially those involving former governors and ministers.
