Soludo Sacks Obidiegwu As ABS MD, Appoints Nnabuife Social Reformation Office Boss
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo on Thursday terminated the appointment of Mr Chido Obidiegwu as the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) with immediate effect.
Obidiegwu was a seasoned Public Relations expert and was replaced with Mr Christopher Molokwu.
Molokwu, from Delta State, is an accomplished broadcaster with a demonstrated history of excellence in the media production industry.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Molokwu served as the Programs Manager at Wazobia FM Onitsha and as Head of Sports at Steam Broadcasting Limited (96.9 Cool FM) in his career that has spanned for about 16 years
He is a graduate of University of Benin with a degree in English Language and Literature.
Soludo thanked Obidiegwu for his services to the State as MD of ABS and wished him well in his future endeavours.
Similarly, Soludo has also appointed Mr Chuka Nnabuife as the Managing Director of the Civic and Social Reformation Office.
Nnabuife was the former Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation from July 2018 to September 2023, and the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of National Light Newspaper from July 2014 to June 2018.
He is, a Fellow of both the Nigerian Guild of Editors (FNGE) and the Society of Nigerian Artists (FSNA).
Nnabuife holds a Master of Science in Media and Communication from Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, specialising in Media Enterprise.
Governor Soludo congratulated. Nnabuife on his new role and expresses confidence in his ability to drive meaningful reforms that will enhance the cultural and social fabric of our state.
