ICD: Egwuonwu Seeks Preservation of Fundamental Rights Of Children
Chief Akai Egwuonwu, a chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) has congratulated children in Anambra especially those in South Senatorial District on the occasion of 2024 International Children’s Day.
Egwuonwu in his goodwill message made available to Journalists on Wednesday, Egwuonwu said children were the heart and soul of any society.

Stine Mills Industries, producers of Anambra Rice said the celebration was significant because the wellbeing of children was of utmost importance.
“Today serves as a reminder of the significance of children and the invaluable role they play in shaping society and humanity,” he said.
Speaking on the theme of 2024 International Children’s Day; *”For Every Child, Every Right”, he said that the theme hoped to ensure that all children should be able enjoy fundamental rights, which included right to education, right to health, right to protection from violence and exploitation, and right to safe environment.
He commended Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and his wife, Nonye, for efforts towards ensuring that Anambra children enjoy the rights, particularly with the free education at primary and secondary school level on the state.
