APGA: Egwuonwu Congratulates Soludo, Ezeokenwa On S’Court Victory
Chief Akai Egwuonwu, top aspirant for Anambra South Senatorial rerun and Chieftain of the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) has congratulated Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and Mr Sly Ezeokenwa on the judgement of Supreme Court over the national leadership of the party.
Recall that the Supreme Court in Wednesday ER uled that Ezeonwuka is the authentic Chairman of APGA, thereby putting the protracted distraction from Chief Edozie Njoku to rest.
Egwuonwu in his reaction on Thursday said the victory for Ezeonwuka was a victory for APGA and a beginning of a new dawn for the party.
He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to
all the members National and State Working Committee of APGA on the victory.
“This is victory for the rule of law, the judiciary must be commended for the judgement which is a victory for justice, rule of law and democracy.
“The judgement will strengthen our democracy and discourage political and judicial rascality of any sort, as we move ahead as a nation,” he said
Egwuonwu called on all party faithful and numerous supporters to see the verdict as a rallying point for unity and stronger bonding for the party.
According to him, the Supreme Cour ruling is a victory for democracy a
nd justice.
