ADC Inaugurates Coalition Campaign Council Ahead Of Anambra Guber
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, Anambra Chapter, has inaugurated its campaign council ahead of the Nov. 18 governorship election in the state.
The 23-man campaign Council comprising 19 men and four women drawn from various parties involved in the coalition was inaugurated at the party Secretariat in Awka on Friday.
Mr John Nwosu, candidate of ADC who presented the campaign council headed by Mr Ike Iwenofu said the party would kick off its campaign on Aug. 9.

Nwosu, who said members of the ADC coalition campaign council was made up of people of proven character, urged team work with a view to achieve the goal of electoral victory in November.
According to him, it is important that we avoid gossip, trust ourselves and sort our differences amicably and in the right quarters.
“We have no time left and our work is at the grassroots,” he said.
Nwosu, an tech expert, called on members of the council to be abreast of the ADC manifesto, ehich was anchored on seven pillars of security, health, education, economy , environment, market and social welfare.
He said lessons from a recent tour of the local governments area showed that the high cost of housing, insecurity and burden of multiple and high taxation were the major grouse of the people with government.
He promised to address the challenges if elected.
Chief Ndubisi Nwobu, the deputy governorship candidate, called for unity of purpose, commitment and partnership.
He said the campaign organisation was aware of their sacrifices which would be rewarded.
Responding on behalf of the Campaign Council members, Iwenofu, said it was a privilege to serve the party at that level and pledged that they would work with loyalty, commitment and diligence.
The Chairman urged members to dwell on issues in their campaign and said technology would be deploy
ed for effective campaigns.
