Adeoye, Anambra CP Decorates 288 Newly Promoted Officers
CP Aderemi Adeoye, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra has decorated a total of 288 officers of the Command who were recently promoted to higher rank
Adeoye performed the decoration ceremony at the State Command Headquarters, Awka on Monday.
The 288 officers were promoted from the rank of Inspector to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP II) following the approval by the Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun recently.
Addressing the newly decorated officers, Adeoye congratulate and described it as reward for hard work.
He urged them to rededicate themselves to duty and reciprocate the recognition by putting more effort into protection of citizens’ and their property.
The CP thanked the IGP for making welfare of personnel a top priority while assuring the people of Anambra of the Command’s commitment to secure the State and serve them with respect and integrity.

“Fate has trusted me with the responsibility to decorate these 288 newly promoted officers,” he said.
