AFCON: Nwosu Hails Super Eagles On Third Place Finish
Mr John Nwosu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has congratulated Nigerians on the third place finish of the Super Eagles at the African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Nwosu who was the candidate of ADC in the 2025 governorship election in Anambra said this in a Statement while reacting to the victory of Super Eagles against Pharaohs of Egypt.
The Tech Expert said the Super Eagles have once again lifted the spirit of our Nigeria by clinching the AFCON bronze medal.
He said the bronze was not a consolation but a foundation for greater triumphs ahead noting that while Nigeria yearned for the gold, the bronze you brought home is no small feat.
“In a country of many tongues, cultures, and convictions, football remains our strongest unifying force and you gave Nigerians something precious to celebrate together.
“As the saying goes, half bread is better than none and this medal is proof of your resilience, character and fighting spirit till the final whistle.
“You played with mission focus, pride, courage and belief, reminding the world that Nigeria will always contend and never surrender.
“Well done, Super Eagles, thank you for uniting the nation and keeping hope alive.
“The gold will come Nigeria is ready,” he said.
