Anambra Assembly Confirms Electricity Regulatory Commission Board Members
The Anambra House of Assembly has confirmed a 5-man Electricity Regulatory Commission board.
The Committee members were confirmed at the plenary of the House presided over by the Speaker, Dr Somtochukwu Udeze on Wednesday following a letter for their screening sent by Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.
The confirmed members of the Electricity Regulatory Commission were Prof. Frank Okafor, Chairman/Chief Executive Commissioner; Mr Geoffrey Nwokoye, Dr Nnaemeka Ewelukwa, Mr Emmanuel Nosike and Mr Chijioke Obi as Commissioners.
Udeze, congratulated the newly confirmed members and urged them to discharge their duties diligently and in accordance with the law.
He said the Commission was important for regulation of electricity supply and ensuring efficient service delivery in the
state.
