Anambra billionaire Arthur Eze hits Sen. Anyim, says we not in the same class
Prince Arthur Eze, a billionaire businessman and foremost philanthropist has replied Seen Ayim Pius Ayim estwhile Secretary to the Government of the Federation who accused him of being a contract chaser.
The reply which was contained in a statement issued by Arthur Eze Media Directorate and signed by Okechukwu Okpala.
Eze who is the Chairman of Oranto Group described the comments credited to Anyim as a testament to how he managed his offices both as SGF and Senate president in the interest of the people.
The statement read, “The attention of Prince Athur Eze’s Media Directorate has been drawn to a publication in a national and some online medium, of a statement credited to an erstwhile Secretary to the Government of the Federation during the Goodluck Jonathan adminstration, Chief Pius Anyim .
“In the said publication Chief Anyim vomited words against Prince Arthur Eze which we consider to be are highly provocative, insulting and derogatory.
“The publication has now made the Media Directorate of Prince Eze to revisit his records as a politician from the South East which has been a political calamity in all ramifications.
“Anyim, a man who became the President of the Nigerian Senate by irony of fate and accident of history should know that the great Prince Arthur Eze towers shoulder high above him and the Prince is not his match in a any respect.
“Any attempt to compare both personalities would therefore be like comparing night and day.
“For him to insinuate that the Ukpo Prince is only known for contact awards is laughable and childish and at best borne out of jealousy.
“Yes jealousy because despite the fact that Anyim has served in government at various times his records and personal acceptability, impact and clout do not come close to that of Prince Eze who has never been in government or employed by anybody as he has been cheating jobs since he left school in the US.
“Today, Prince Arthur Eze is a world class Oil and Gas magnate, a continental financial stronghold and a gigantic philanthropist. Who is a Anyim?
“The truth is that occupying political offices does not make a man. A lizard out of government cannot become a crocodile in governement.
“As Senate President, Anyim was a terror in Ebonyi, a sign that he is an abuser of power and privileges. He was always at loggerhead with his Governor then until they cut him to size and reminded him that being Senate President should get into his head.
“Many Nigerians are well aware that
the several errors of judgement during the Jonathan administration were as a result of his emptyness, lack of tact and strategic planning.
“Can one therefore compare that poor record in public service with the sterling and exceptional leadership qualities of Prince Arthur Eze?
“It is on record that Senator Anyim is the worst Senate president that the entire East zone has produced.
“He was not able to attract any meaningful develolemmt to the zone throughout his tenure.
“Is it not a thing of shame that as long as Anyim stayed, both as Senate President and SGF he could not cause the executulion of the second Niger bridge which the Buhari administration is now executing?
“Even the East West road project which could have had direct benefit for the South East was treated with lethargy during his time.
“So what kind of leader is Anyim? A leader whose tenure does not benefit his people is a failure and I dare say that Anyim is a colossal failure in Governorment.
“His emegrnece is politics has been a disaster an calamity to south Eaterners.
“The paradox of Anyim’s unfortunate and unjustified tirade against Prince Eze is that the Ex SGF was uncoordinated and thoughtless in his comments.
“For instance, he stated with glee that Prince Eze approached him for a contract award for a friend and he smartly evaded it. Then he ended up saying that Arthur ‘s fiend eventually got the contract. This means that the Prince Arthur ‘s friend was eminently qualified to be awarded the contract but because of Anyim’s paternal hathred for the Igbo race he chickened out and could not help his fellow Igbo man.
“Does Anyim not know that Prince Arthur Eze is a foremost, reputable and seasoned entrepreneurship giant of global reckoning?
“Is he not aware that the second Indegenous airline established in this country, was Triact Airlines by Prince Arthur Eze?
“This was only second to the first airline, Okada Air by Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom.
“This is the class where Prince Arthur Eze belongs. He has been an employer of many Nigerians including many Igbo sons and daughter.
“The great Prince Arthur Eze also set up Triat Engineering which was the only indegenous firm handling the massive construction of FM radio stations across the country, employing countless youths in the nooks and cranny of Nigeria.
“Prince Arthur Eze has never been employed by any individual and has rather flown the flag of Nigeria and indeed the south East to the farthest parts of the world.
“So the records are there for everyone to know who prince Arthur Eze is.
“Prince Eze also set up Atlas Petroleum and Oranto Petroleum Conglomerates, which are world class oil and gas giants which privide employment for people across the world, including Nigeria.
“As a good manager of resources he has helped to develope many parts of Nigeria through his myriads of donations and philanthropic gestures across nigeria and behind.
“For instance, his donations and interventions during the current Covid 19 pandemic is unequalled.
“Prince Arthur Eze remains a first class industrialist and employer of Labour in this country and beyond
“People who accidentally found themselves in positions of governance and honour like Anyim should be grateful to God and not wake up overnight to attempt to denigrate men of stature like Prince Arthur Eze who have done so much to uplift the downtrodden”
“A word is enough for the wise,” Okpala Okechukwu stated.
