Anambra FA elections fixed for July 27/28, committee meets aspirants Thursday
The Anambra Election Committee would on July 23 hold a pre election meeting with all aspirants in the 2020 Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) Board and 21 Local Football Committee (LFC) elections.
Rev. Fr Coach Obinna Dike, Head of Media and Publicity of the Committee who announced the meeting said it was compulsory for all cleared candidates for the elections.
In the notice of elections released on Tuesday, AnSFA board election would hold on Monday July 27 while the LFCs election would come up on Tuesday July 28.
Both elections would hold between 10 am and 1pm in the respective dates at Arch. Bishop A.k. Obiefuna Retreat center, Okpuno-Awka.
“The Electoral Committee of the Anambra State Football Association hereby announces election dates into the Board of Anambra State Football association and Anambra State Local Football Councils Scheduled on July 27 July and July 28 respectively.
“Venue for the election is Arch. Bishop A.k. Obiefuna Retreat center, Okpuno-Awka between 10am- 1pm and 10am-3pm prompt respectively,” it stated.
Dike said the meeting between the committee and the aspirants would be followed by engagements with stakeholders including the media to keep the public abreast with the process which happens every four years.
