Anambra Guber: APGA Chieftain Says Ukachukwu Not Threat To Soludo
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has said that Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not sellable.
Mr Chinedu Obigwe, National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum said this in Awka on Wednesday.
Obigwe said Ukachukwu did not have what it took to govern a complex state like Anambra and should not be voted for on Nov. 8.
“He knows nothing about governance,” he said.
Obigwe said Ukachukwu demonstrated his lack of capacity to manage political office when he served as a legislator in the House of Representatives between 1999 to 2003 where according to him, ‘he was more of a deaf and dumb legislator’.
He said the APC candidate has not been able to win any election in Anambra from that 2003 till date.
According to him, Ukachukwu is a regular customer in the business of election contests in Anambra but he has never won any because Anambra electorate know about his woeful performance as a legislator in FCT.
Obigwe said Gov. Chukwuma Soludo was a better candidate than Ukachukwu on issues of governance and that Nigerians could attest to that fact.
He said Soludo had outperformed all his predecessors since the creation of Anambra nothing that the state could not be allowed to the hands of mediocre administrators.
“When Prof Soludo was not yet elected Anambra Governor, APC Governors invited him to lecture them on how to govern their State.
“Our people are even praying that after Soludo God ordained 8 years in office, the constitution should be made to allow him to contest for third term because he delivering good governance in Anambra.
Infact, Soludo is contesting the Nov. 8 election unopposed, others are just trying to recoup the money they spent in hijacking their party ticket and also make some gains from donation.
“Anambra has passed the stage of N
icholas Ukachukwu,” he said.
