Anambra Guber: Don’t Disrupt Zoning With Fake One-term Promise—Soludo
Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has said the zoning principle for Anambra governorship has come to stay and cannot be disrupted by anybody.
Soludo said this during his campaign flag off for Anambra South Senatorial District in Ekwulobia on Saturday.
He said Anambra people would not be received by any contestant from the zone promising to do only one term if elected.
He said it was laughable that somebody with a sound mind could make such promises as it was not only a lie but being half smart.
Anybody from Anambra South is trying to cause commotion and anybody saying he will do only one term does not know what he is saying, he needs psychiatric examination because he is are taking everybody else for a fool
“He must have some mental problem, when the constitution allows you to serve up to 8 eight years, they come and tell us they are going to spend one term, where has it ever happened ?” he said.
Soludo said nobody with questionable character or unverified academic background should present himself to govern a state as sophisticated as Anambra.
According to him, Anambra has no place for street urchins, those of them whose secondary school certificates are questionable because we do not know who wrote them can not say they want to govern Anambra.
“Any one contesting for governorship from Anambra South is trying to disrupt the zoning system in An
ambra,” he said.
