Anambra Guber: NULGE Inaugurates Solution Movement For Soludo’s Re-election
The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has floated the SOLUTION MOVEMENT, a political support group for return of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for second term.
Mr Chuddy Orakwue, the president of NULGE in Anambra inaugurated the movement at the weekend.
Orakwue said the Movement was to mobilise Local Government workers to work for the re-election of Soludo in the Nov. 8 governorship election in the state.
He said NULGE under his leadership would work for the victory of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and ensure the victory of the Soludo/Ibezim Ticket in the crucial election.
According to him, NULGE is not only calling on Gov. Chukwuma Soludo to run for a second term in office, we are going to work for his victory.
“On behalf of the entire workers in the Local Government System, we assure Mr Governor of our undiluted support and massive grassroots mobilisation of votes for his victory.
“We the workers are impressed with the massive, voracious appetite of Mr governor towards the development of Anambra state.
“We want to thank the governor for the approval and implementation of N70,000 minimum wage and for making it N82,000 on May 1, 2025,” he said.
Orakwue expressed gratitude to Soludo for ending the protracted leadership crisis which had rocked the union since 2019 by insisting on the rule of law and obedience to a valid judgement of a court of competent jurisdiction.
The NULGE state president reiterated that there was no vacancy at the “Lighthouse” noting that one good turn deserved another.
