Anambra Guber: Okonkwo Welcomes Ganduje, Reiterates Capacity To Win For APC
Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, a top aspirant in the Nov. 8 governorship election in Anambra has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) to give him the party ticket.
Okonkwo said this while speaking at the inauguration of APC Party House in Awka on Saturday.
He said APC had come to stay in Anambra and that the November election was winnable.
He described himself as a strong and committed party while had contributed his time and resources towards its growth since 2011.
According to him, I have come a long way in this great party, I am committed to the unity of APC in Anambra before, during and after the election.
“lin 2011 I led the campaign for the victories of the first set of ACN National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly members in Southeast.
“We can we this election and I am the most suitable to lead the party to the election with best assurance of victory,” he said
Okonkwo congratulated APC and those who supported the party to get the beautiful Secretariat while promising that he would continue to commit his resources towards making it stronger.
He said, we are in a rented office but I can assure you that if we win this election, I will invite you to come and take the Certificate of Occupancy of this party house by thi
s time next year.
