Anambra Guber: Orumba South Will Vote Soludo En Bloc—- Council Chairman
The Chairman, Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra, Mr Shedrack Azubuike, has begun a door-to-door campaign for the re-election bid of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.
Azubuike said during the campaign on Friday, that the exercise was part of step to mobilise massive support for Soludo’s
victory on Nov. 8.
He said that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), recognised the importance of the grassroots in the re-election bid of Soludo, hence the door-to-door campaign to win support.
According to him, Anambra state has experienced the transformational leadership of Gov. Soludo over the past three years.
“Gov. Soludo deserves our support to consolidate, he carried out numerous development projects across the state for the betterment of residents.
“We are going door-to-door telling our people that a vote for Soludo is a vote for continuity and good governance.
“We are assuring the people that if the governor is re-elected, he would continue to delivery more dividends of democracy.
“So, we are urging residents in Anambra to come out en masse on Nov.8 and vote for the victory of Soludo,” he said.
Azubuike stated that Orumba South LGA has greatly benefited from Gov. Soludo’s administration.
He also outlined series of impactful projects and initiatives executed under his administration as LG chairman.
He said the projects were aimed at improving the lives of residents across the 18 wards of the LGA.
“Improved infrastructure, agriculture, education, health and youth empowerment in Orumba South.
“We carried out road rehabilitation, erosion control and solar power installation in health centers.
“We equipped health facilities, launched an ICT centre and enhanced local security.
“Farmers were empowered with seeds and fertilizers, students were supported with scholarships and we trained youths in vocational and tech skills.
“We also provided business grants, school supplies, food palliatives, and medical outreach, making notable strides in community development.
