Anambra: Police intercept 3-man Gang In Obosi, Recovers Two Pistols
Operatives of the Police Command in Anambra on Thursday intercepted a 3-man gang operating in tricycle around Littlewood Estate, Obosi, Idemmili North Local Government Area.
DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, Police Public Relations Officer of the Command who disclosed this in a statement said the Police also recovered two English made pistols concealed in a bag.
He said suspects arrested were Amaechi Precious, 25, from
Obosi and Almazer Avalumo, 25 from Adikpo in Benue State while the third suspect managed to escape.
He said two of the suspects sustained gun wounds following a duel with Police operatives
“Two Beretta Pistols and two rounds of ammunition were recovered from the hoodlums,” he said.
Ikenga said the Commissioner of Police CP Aderemi Adeoye had charged Police Officers to sustain the fight against criminal elements wherever they may be lurking.
