Anambra Prepare for Teqball World Qualifiers in Abia

The Anambra State Teqball Association says it will take part in the forthcoming Teqball World Qualifiers, scheduled for between Sept.10 and Sept. 13 in Aba, Abia State.
The association said this in a communique signed by Edwin Umeanozie and Cyril Nwoye, its chairman and media officer respectively after an executive meeting on Monday.
The association said as part of preparations for the qualifiers, there would be selection trials for the Anambra contingent at the Awka Township Stadium August 16.
“We call onn all stakeholders, players, and Teqball enthusiasts to rally behind the team to ensure a strong showing at the qualifiers,” it said .
The Teqball Association thanked Gov. Chukwuma Soludo as well as Patrick Estate Onyedum, Chairman of the Anambra Sports Development Commission for his commitment to sports development and growth of Teqball in the
state.
