Anaocha LGA Chairman Parley Community Heads On Security, Empowerment
Mr Rome Ibekwe, Chairman of Anaocha Local Government says the cooperation of village leadership was crucial to ensuring a secure and prosperous society.
Ibekwe said this during a strategic meeting of Chairmen of villages in Anaocha LGA led by Chief Osita Ozalagba where ideas were shared on mutual and synergic coexistence last week.
The Council Chairman used the opportunity to reel out his achievements so far in office and his Greater Anaocha vision which he intended to achieve through strengthening of the Security system, youth empowerment, and involvement of village Chairmen.
He commended the village Chairmen for their initiative to come together for common good and called for stronger synergy while assuring that his office would provide the support for them to function effectively in order to make Anaocha a reference point.
The Chairmen took turns after the other to laud Ibekwe for his exemplary leadership style and promised to work closely with their various Community Presidents General and Traditional Rulers to achieve a liveable and prosperous society as envisioned Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.
The Chairman of Anaocha Village Chairmen; Chief Osita Ozalagba in a vote of thanks said Ibekwe had shown leadership and good knowledge of grassroots development.
He said his initiative to foster effective collaboration between the Traditional Rulers, Presidents Generals of Communities and Village Leaders would yield visible progress at the grassroots
Ozolagba commended Gov. Soludo for his impressive strides across the sectors of the state saying he had done well to deserves a second term.
No fewer than 80 delegates at the meeting appreciated Ide Inno-Posh Chikezie who hosted their first meeting, and has promised to support their effort to make Anaocha the best LGA.
