Anyaso promises effective representation for Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency
Mr Chinedu Anyaso, an aspirant for Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Seat has promised to provide effective representation for the people of the area and wins the contest.
Anyaso said this when he announced his aspiration to the leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Nnewi South Local Government Area in his residence in Ekwulummili Community on Tuesday.
Anyaso is the Chairman of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Enugu Depot Community in charge of Anambra, Ebonyi and Enugu States.
He said his ambition was informed primarily by the poor representation the Constituency had had over the years in spite the increasing development and existential challenges of the people.
He said the constituency deserved strong and effective representation in the National Assembly in order to attract the needed federal attention to the ecological and infrastructure challenges that fall within its remit.
The Political Scientist applauded the APGA government in Anambra under Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for the transformative leadership across the state and the constituency in particular but noted that the tasks were enormous for the state alone.
He listed some of the challenges to include gully erosion, absence of basic infrastructure for industrialisation, agriculture and agriculture value chain facilities.
According to him, I will work harmoniously with the Chukwuma Soludo led government to attract improved power supply, agricultural development, access to business loans, and fight ecological challenges through federal intervention.
“I will have regular engagement with constituents where we will together, generate and identify project ideas that address the needs of the people.
“I am going to the House of Representatives to serve, not to enrich myself,” he said.
Anyaso urged APGA leaders in the local government area to support his aspiration and trust him with the ticket adding that he had the capacity to achieve victory for the party I. January 2026 general election.
Also speaking, Mr Azubuike Nwankwo, a representative of IPMAN, Enugu Depot said marketers were in solidarity with Anyaso who had proven himself as a people oriented and purpose driven leader.
Nwankwo urged APGA faithful to support Anyaso for the ticket of the party for an assured victory in the election and better representative fortune for the people of Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency.
“Mr Chinedu Anyaso is a good manager of human and material resources and we are confident in his ability to fly APGA ticket and represent the constituency purposefully and effectively,” he said.
Leaders of APGA in Nnewi South LGA including the council chairman, Van George Ezeogidi, LGA party Chairman, Mr Azubuike Osuchukwu, Ekwulumili Ward Chairman, Mr Cosmas Ezeani, LGA Women Leader, Mrs Nkoli Okafor and Youth Leader, Mr Okoye Obichukwu were at the event.
