APGA Apostles Embark On Ward To Ward Campaign Tour As INEC Lifts Ban

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) APGA Apostles Forum (AAF) has announced the commencement of campaign tour across the 326 political wards in Anambra.

Chief Anthony Nchukwube, the National Convener of APGA Apostles Forum said this while speaking on the lift of ban on open campaigns by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Awka on Wednesday.

Nchukwube said the initiative aimed at deepening the presence of APGA at the grassroots and strengthening direct engagement with the electorate.

He said the tour was to rally community wide support for the re-election of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, for a second term.

He said the programme which would last for 82 days would include the formal inauguration of AAF Polling Unit Chairmen and Secretaries in all 5,720 Polling Units across the State.

The National Coordinator said the initiative was a critical step toward fortifying the party’s structure ahead of the gubernatorial election.

“Following the official opening of the Nov. 8, Anambra governorship election campaign window today, June 11, APGA Apostles Forum will launch a comprehensive, grassroots driven tour across all 326 political wards in Anambra.

“During the period, we will amplify APGA’s people-centered agenda, raise public consciousness, and rally community wide support for the re-election of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.

“As part of this tour, the APGA Apostles Forum will formally inaugurate our Polling Unit Chairmen and Secretaries in all 5,720 Polling Units across the state.

“The ward visit will also feature,

voter sensitisation on election processes, community market engagements, vibrant road-show entertainment,” he said.

Nchukwube called Anambra electorate across ages and sections of the society to vote APGA in

the coming election.
