Azikiwe Varsity restricts Vehicular Movement To Check Insecurity, Immorality On Campus
The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has announced the restriction of unauthorised vehicular movement within the campus from 8 pm.
Ken Chukwurah, the Chief Security Officer of the university disclosed this in a circular made available to journalists on Friday.
Chukwurah said the proactive measure was taken with a view to ensuring safety within the campus given the rise in cases of kidnapping and unwholesome practices within the state.
The university said there had been unauthorised movements in and out of the university campus at dark hours
“The Safety Department wishes to inform the university community and the general public that henceforth, unauthorised vehicular movement
prohibited from 8pm.
This proactive measure is taken to ensure safety within the campu
