Echeng 32nd CP in Anambra Charges Officers to Be Ready To Fight
Mr Echeng Echeng, the 32nd Commissioner of Police (CP) in Anambra has called on men and officers of the Command to be ready to fight for them to live.
Echeng gave the charge on Friday when be assumed duty as the 32nd CP of Anambra Police Command
DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra, who disclosed this in Statement said Echeng called for the cooperation of the public in the task of making Anambra a safe have for all law abiding residents.
The CP also enjoined the officers and men of the Command to double their efforts and be ready to give their all in the job.
“I don’t want to work with men who want to die, I want to work with men that want to live. How do we live ? we stay and fight,” he said.
The CP urged the people of Anambra to provide credible and timely crime prevention information and intelligence that would aid the fight against crime.

Prior to his appointment as the CP Anambra Echeng, who holds a Degree in History from the University of Maiduguri was the CP in-charge of Bayelsa State.
He had also served as a former Police Component Commander, Joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe, Deputy Commissioner of Police in-charge of Zonal CID, Zone-13, Ukpo, Anambra.
He was CP Central Criminal Registry, FCID, Abuja, Compol Mopol Force Headquarters, Abuja, DC Border Patrol Force Headquarters Abuja among others.
Echeng took over from CP Tony Olofu who had been deployed to Force Headquarters, Abuja.
