EFCC Clears ASMATA PG Of Wrongdoing, Warns Detractors Against Frivolous Allegations
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has cleared Chief Humphrey Anuna, President General of Anambra State Amalgamated Market Traders Association ASMATA) of any form of financial impropriety.
The letter entitled “Letter Of Public Awareness” signed by one Bar.Nwoye Chidera a member of the legal team on behalf of Olanikpekun Olukeyede, Chairman of the EFCC Said it had conducted an investigation on Anuna.
It said it wished to let the general public of Anambra Marketers Zones to know about the outcome of the investigation.
According to the EFCC, throughout our recent investigations there was no criminal activities done or supported by the PG of ASMATA.
“We promise to keep on monitoring his activities throughout his work as the PG of ASMATA Anambra..
“We urge everyone to kindly respect and allow ASMATA PG to focus and work for the
betterment of Anambra markets.
“We strongly stand against work mobbing. direct or
indirect attack and urge general public to kindly pay their taxes.
“Any insubordination towards this order will attract unexpected lawful comeuppance to whosever it might be,” it said.
The EFCC said any evidence of criminal activities done or do by ASMATA PG should be send to the Iegal team reporter
