Ezeh, Others Emerge African Law Students’ Body New Executives
African Law Students under the aegis of Federation of African Law Students (FALAS) has elected new leadership to steer its affairs for the next one year.
FALAS held the election at its 2nd Annual Conferences which was held between Oct. 3rd and Oct. 5 2022 at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Delegates from countries across the continent participated in the election where the new National Executive Council members were elected.
The elected officers were Siaffa Bahn Kemokai, president; Monica Tembo from Zimbabwe, Vice President: Ampumuza Abigail from Uganda, General Secretary; Justice Emeh,Nigerian; Deputy General Secretary.
Other officers declared by Victor Okoli, Chairman, 2022 FALAS Electoral Committee were Gerald Uchem, Nigeria, Welfare Secretary and Nokuthula Songo, South Africa, Director of Information and Protocol.
Odira Ezeh, Nigeria was elected as Head, Diplomacy and External Affairs of the body.
This moves the directorate of Diplomacy and External Affairs of FALAS to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Igbariam, Anambra Nigeria where Ezeh is a student.
Ezeh said he hoped to engender greater cooperation among African law students and that he would do this to ensure continued unification of voices in Africa.
