Ezeonwuka Places Curse On Masterminds Of Nibo Mass Shooting, Condoles Community
Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, Managing Director of Rojenny Stadium, Oba has condoled with the government of Anambra and people of Nibo Community in Awka South Local Government Area over the shooting which resulted in the death of no fewer than 10 youths.
Ezeonwuka said it was unfortunate that the ‘Onwa Asaa’ festival, which was an opportunity for the people to celebrate God’s blessing on the community and bountiful farm harvest, turned out to be a moment of grief and mourning for the people.
The Igbo spiritual leader who spoke on Monday described the waste of his life and bloodletting as a sacrilege.
He sympathised the community and families of victims for their irreparable loss while calling in youths of Anambra to shun Cultism and every act that could result to loss of human blood.
Ogilisi Igbo as he is known, called on Gov. Chukwuma Soludo to tackle insecurity headon by activating every instrument of state including law to kick cultism out of Anambra.
“I wish to console Mr Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo and the people of Nibo for this huge loss.
“As Ogilisi Igbo and the Spiritual Leader of Igbo land, place a course on those responsible for this massacre, they shall be sure apprehended.
“In Igbo land, we value human lives, we are not known for senseless killings as witnessed in Nibo on Sunday, my heart goes out to those involved directly or indirectly” he said.
