Flavour, Umu-Obiligbo Other Anambra Born Artists To Perform At Fun City Grand Opening June 28
Afro High Life musician, Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour N’abania alongside other Anambra born including Umu-Obiligbo will perform during the opening of the Solution Fun City, Awka to the public on June 28.
Dr Law Mefor, Commissioner for Information said the Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) gave the approval at its 12th meeting on Tuesday.
Mefor said the Council also approved the sum of N2,09 million for six projects across the state.
He said the Council approved the construction of a rehabilitation centre at Nibo, within the Capital Territory, to address the state’s mental health issues.
“This will allow those who leave the state’s asylums to access rehabilitation facilities that provide all the services they need to fully heal before returning to their families and communities,” he said
Mefor listed the contracts awarded to include the construction and modelling of the State Rehabilitation Centre at Nibo at the cost of N417.2 million and relocation and expansion of the Solution Hub/Park at Aroma, Awka at the cost N72.6 million.
Others were the construction of walkway and flooring, installation of kerbs, and aesthetic enhancement of the Ekwulobia Flyover for N414. 1 million and additional works on the construction of a six-hall high court building complex at the cost N341 million.
“Also approved were N790.2 for additional works on the construction of 17 unit duplexes at the new Commissioners’ Quarters and construction of additional perimeter fencing, stormwater drainage fences at the Safari Park, Agulu Lake for N62.9,” he said.
