FRSC, Police Reiterate Stronger Inter-Agency Collaboration For Safer Anambra

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and Police Commands in Anambra have agreed to forge stronger synergy for safer roads and a more secure environment.
CP Aderemi Adeoye, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police Anambra made the commitment when he paid a courtesy call on CC Adeoye A Irelewuyi, the Sector Commissioner of FRSC, Anambra on Tuesday.
Adeoye said the visit to the FRSC was part of his inter agency engagement since his deployment as CP in Anambra.

He commenced the Sector Commander and his staff for the warm reception while promising to assist in the enforcement of the Command’s policies.
According to him, I cherish the collaboration between sister agencies because the work cannot be done by one organisation alone
“The Police Command under my watch shall work in synergy with FRSC to serve the people of Anambra in saving lives and property on the road,’ he said.
On his part, Irelewuyi promised to maintain the good synergy with the Police Command in Anambra.
He informed the CP of the ongoing enforcement of number plate violation as a result of fake number plate production.
He said the enforcement was according to the directive of the FRSC headquarters Abuja which had ordered a total clampdown on the menace.

Tje Sector Commander presented fancy number plate and a plaque as souvenirs to the visiting CP.
