Herbalist Picks PRP Ticket For Anambra Guber
Dr Nnamdi Nwanmuo, a traditional healing practice her has been nominated as the candidate of peoples Redemption Party (PRP) for the governorship election in Anambra slated for Nov. 6.
Nwanmuo won the nomination of the party on Wednesday after his two other rivals withdrew from the contest in his favour.
Declaring the native doctor winner of the Congress Mr Babatunde Ali, the National Secretary of the party said the process that produced him was free, fair, credible and in line with guidelines of the party.
Alinssid with the nomination of Nwanmuo, the PDP was poised to wrest power from the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance in Anambra through the ballot.
He commended other aspirants for their courage to step down for the candidate adding that it was a show of spirit of sportsmanship and leadership.
According to him, PRP is the only party that recognises the place of people in governance.
In his acceptance speech, Nwanwuo promised to focus on health, education and agriculture to impact the lives of the citizens of the state.
