IPOB Disowns Biatra National Guard
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) says it has no link with Biafra National Guard (BNG) a faceless group purporting to wage war against Nigeria for the emancipation of Biafra.
Mr Emma Powerful, the Director of Publicity of IPOB said the group which was seen in recent viral video was not known to IPOB and that their nefarious activities which does not correspond with IPOB’S fundamental objectives should not be linked to them.
Powerful in a Statement said IPOB had observed the unpatriotic and nefarious activities of this BNG and unequivocally dissociated itself from those unpatriotic actions.
According to him, the group has no link whatsoever with IPOB and doesn’t work for IPOB and that it had nothing to do with any group associated with criminality.
“Our mandate is peaceful agitation and anything other than that should not be linked to IPOB.
“IPOB will deal with anybody or group caught in such barbaric acts which runs afoul of it’s ideology.
“Unscrupulous elements who use IPOB name to collect money from some politicians in Anambra are advised to desist from such a dubious character immediately,” he stated.
