League of Abuja Journalists Sends Season’s Greetings To Soludo, Citizens
The League of Anambra Journalists in Abuja (LAJA) has sent hearty Christmas and new year felicitations to the government and people of the state.
LAJA in a Statement signed by
Ikenna Okonkwo and Princess-Ekwi Ajide Interim President and Interim Secretary respectively wished those at home and in the diaspora a joyous and prosperous new year in advance.
The group said the season embodied love, sacrifice, peace and renewed hope for humanity as it presented an opportunity to appreciate the resilience of our people in the face of economic and social challenges.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, LAJA urges the good people of Anambra to reflect deeply on the enduring values of unity, compassion, tolerance and selfless service to one another.
“These values have remained the strength of our people over the years and continue to define the resilient and progressive Anambra spirit wherever we find ourselves.
“We commend the industrious nature of Anambra, whose enterprise, innovation and commitment to excellence continue to contribute meaningfully to the development of our state and the nation at large,” it said.
LAJA reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to responsible, ethical and development oriented journalism and pledged to continue to use their platforms to promote truth, peace, accountability and positive narratives.
The group called on the people to celebrate responsibly, extend a helping hand to the less privileged, and continue to pray for peace, security and prosperity in Anambra and across the country.
“May this Christmas bring renewed hope to every home, strengthen our bonds as a people, and usher us into a New Year filled with greater opportunities, unity and progress,” it said.
